The pumpkin patch and corn maze will be open every Saturday in October from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Tifton Welcome Center at the entrance to the Museum. People who are interested in bringing a large group on a weekday field trip should contact Angela Moore at the Spearman Agency, 386-0216.
Admission to the pumpkin patch is free. Children may pick their own pumpkins priced at $2 and up. Visitors can also navigate their way through the corn maze or ride the steam train for $2 each. Moore said there are lots of great fall photo opportunities at the pumpkin patch.
Turner County 4-H members will be doing face painting at the pumpkin patch this Saturday. The ABAC Ambassadors will be doing face painting and selling concessions on Oct. 9.
The Agrirama Foundation is also sponsoring a Community Yard Sale Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the parking lot at the Tifton Welcome Center. A 10 x 10 space with an eight-foot table is $10. Space is still available.
