Frank Myles of Mount Moriah in Adel will bring the service, Thursday the Rev. Frankie Mathis of Traveler’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church will be in charge of services and Friday the speaker will be the Rev. Ben Stevenson of Macedonia Baptist Church. At 3 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Father’s Day Celebration

ADEL — St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church will have a weekend-long Father’s Day celebration. “You Can Change,” a play written and acted out by the young adults of St. James and directed by Shameka Durden, will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday. During morning services at 11 a.m. Sunday the Rev. Martha Nell King will give a special presentation.

TIFTON — G.M.I.C. Chapter has rescheduled their Youth Day in the Park from May 23 to 11 a.m. July 11 at Fulwood Park. There will be a live radio promotion from 1 to 2 p.m. Featured performers will be the Gospel Starlights of Tifton, Golden Angels of Ashburn and the Anointed Voices of Ocilla.
