Retha Mae Hollis

NASHVILLE — Retha Mae Hollis, 77, of Nashville, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at Berrien Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville.

Mrs. Hollis was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Berrien County, the daughter of Leo Fountain and Clera Ray Fountain, both deceased. She was a homemaker and attended Nashville Mission and New Fellowship Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hollis was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, William Derrell “Bill” Hollis of Nashville; three special nephews, who she raised as her own children, Timothy Fountain, Stanley Fountain, both of Nashville, and Jeff Fountain of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Leola Nolan of Nashville, and other nieces and nephews.

Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville, is in charge of arrangements.
