A local businessman and author of an inspirational book was arrested Thursday on forgery warrants, according to law enforcement documents.

John Brian Bergeron, 46, of Tifton, was charged with four counts of forgery in the first degree. The circumstances behind his arrest weren’t immediately known as of presstime.

Bergeron authored “Dream It,” which, according to a Web site selling the book, is a collection of thoughts on dreaming. The same site describes Bergeron as being “known for his contagious enthusiasm and his genuine love for people.”

Further arrests could be pending.
