Robert ‘Lee’ Ingram
Kalamazoo, Mich. — Robert “Lee” Ingram, 62, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Greensboro, died May 6, 2005, at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo, Mich.
In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave., in Kalamazoo. A memorial service will be held following the visitation. The Rev. Dan Minor will officiate.
Lee was born on Oct. 18, 1942, in Greensboro. He was the son of Elisha Courtney and Mable Anna (Davis) Ingram.
He married Heather England in 1987. He was previously married to Lena Welsh Ingram of Tifton.
He worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for Upjohn, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the American Society for Medical Technologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathologists and he was a volunteer for the Kellogg Biological Station.
Lee is survived by his wife, Heather; a son, John Garner Ingram of Las Vegas, Nev.; two stepdaughters, Nina and Sonya Larsen, both of Atlanta; and a sister, Martha Ingram (James) Luallen of Waco.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice of Allegan or Kairos Dwelling of Kalamazoo.
Redmond Funeral Home in Kalamazoo is in charge of arrangements.
