Keep Tift Beautiful declares Beauty Spots for February

Don Pearson's yard may still be a little affected by the snow, but the shrubbery along the facade of his home remains beautifully kept and prospering despite the recent odd weather.
TIFTON — The Keep Tift Beautiful board has named their February winners of their Beauty Spot of the Month program.
The home of Don Pearson, located at 816 Pearson Place, and financial planner Hilliard Financial Services at 108 East 4th St were granted the title of Beauty Spots for the month of February.
Manned by David Hilliard, Hilliard Financial aims to help local residents stabilize, bolster, and protect their finances through consultations, discussions of investments and insurance plans, and other such services.
Pearson’s front facade is marked by well-kept and delicately sculpted shrubs and bushes, maintaining their liveliness and greenery even through the cold snap of last month.
Both properties will have signage designating them as Beauty Spots for the rest of the month.
