NASHVILLE — Tift County’s soccer teams traveled to Berrien Tuesday and came back home with two wins.

It was a very defensive game for head coach Irvin Alvarez’s Lady Devils. They won 1-0, the goal coming from Jordyn Shivers. Alvarez said keeper Diana Reducindo faced very few chances in the net.

Juniors, said Bobby Earls, came through for him at Berrien — Jordan Lopez, Juan Rodriguez and Cristian Salazar. Tift won 3-1.

Tift teams have one more match remaining on the schedule. Thursday, boys and girls are home against Veterans.
