TIFTON — With the opening of her new business, Kelly Nguyen is also making a return to her roots.

Together with her staff and the Tift County Chamber of Commerce, she celebrated the grand opening of Adore Nails and Spa in the Tifton Mall the morning of Feb. 22.

Patrons of the salon can enjoy a wide range of services from acrylic or dip powder nails, waxing, and six different pedicure treatments.

Nguyen has approximately 24 years of experience in manicuring and pedicuring, but has mostly operated in locations away from Tifton. With her new store, she’s happy to finally have a place in her hometown.

“I’m really proud to have a business in my own town,” Nguyen said. “I used to have businesses in Ashburn, Douglas, Adel, but now, I’m back home to get to business in Tifton.”

The nail salon opened Feb. 15, with Nguyen reporting a warm reception from patrons.

In celebration of the opening, the salon has also gifted patrons with a small gift set including hand lotion and cuticle oil.

Moving forward, Nguyen plans to hold events and specials around major holidays and hopes to be a positive influence on the Tifton Mall area in drawing patrons back to the shopping center.

Adore Nails and Spa is located in the Tifton Mall, and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. For more information, contact (229) 396-5689.
