TIFTON – Tift County reported one COVID-19-related death and about 25 new virus cases during the past week, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Tift County has reported 66 deaths related to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH early this week. 

Tift County has reported about 2,020 cases since the pandemic began earlier this year, according to the GDPH.

The county has reported more than 250 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
