Man arrested in connection with Dec. shooting

TIFTON — A third man has been arrested in connection with the Dec. 4, 2017 murder of Cedric Brown.
Derick Renard Ross, 28, of Tifton, was arrested Mar. 14 and charged with aggravated assault, murder and felony probation violation in connection with the case.
On Dec. 4, 2017, Tifton Police responded to reports of gunfire in downtown Tifton at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Once they arrived on the scene they discovered the victim, Brown, on Third Street.
TPD previously arrested Kenneth Williams, 26 and Anthony Woods, 29, both of Tifton, in December in connection with the shooting.
