MOULTRIE — Led by a pair of low medalists, Eighth Street Middle golf teams took second place Monday at the South Georgia Athletic Conference championship, held at Sunset Country Club.

ESMS’ teams both finished second to Hahira Middle and each by four strokes. Both squads boasted the low medalist for the tournament. Bo Carpenter shot 71 for the Blue Devils and Maggie Harrelson finished with an 83 for the Lady Devils.

The top two individual scores were taken for each girls’ team and the top four for the boys.

Other scores for the Lady Devils were: Elli Warren (102), Jenna Davis (103) and Ellie Bluebaum (108). The Blue Devils were represented by Jake Fountain (79), Jobe Warren (80), Blaze Abbott (86), Peyton Meeks (91) and Scott Upshaw (94).
