Reward offered in Tifton arson case

TIFTON — A reward has been offered for information in a Tift County arson case.

State Fire Safety Commissioner John King said recently a $10,000 reward is available for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of whoever was responsible for a fire in Tifton on July 11. Around 5:45 p.m. that day, state fire investigators headed to a blaze in the 4000 block of Emerson O. Bynes Avenue. They found a structure that was under construction and unoccupied that was on fire, a statement from the fire commissioner’s office said.
