Clayton Homes celebrates grand opening

Just on the cusp of a rain shower, general manager Suzanne Jordan, with her staff and chamber representatives, cuts the ribbon marking the grand opening of the Tifton branch of Clayton Homes.
As part of the celebration of the grand opening of its Tifton location, Clayton Homes plans to offer a variety of prizes in its upcoming celebration, which were on display in the office following the ribbon cutting.
The new branch of the housing retailer is already sporting the spirit of the season, both with this Christmas tree in its lobby and its very festively decorated entrance.
One of the homes Clayton has for purchase, displayed on their lot. The housing retailer offers a variety of layouts for their homes, including houses with up to five bedrooms, meant to accommodate any of their customers' needs.
TIFTON — Manufactured housing retailer Clayton Homes is getting to work providing affordable homes to the Tiftarea community.
General manager Suzanne Jordan and her staff celebrated the grand opening of their Tifton location the afternoon of Nov. 19, in high spirits for the occasion despite the dreary weather.
Boasting 400 retail and 50 manufacturing plant locations across the eastern U.S., Clayton works to offer families with affordable housing through a variety of modular floor plans, providing homes with as many as five bedrooms for whatever their customers may need.
Jordan stated that the housing company saw a need for affordable housing in the Tiftarea community, prompting the opening of the new branch. She expressed excitement for the opportunity to help the local residents acquire a home for themselves.
“We wanted to be able to get our name out and we just saw a need,” Jordan said. “So many families need affordable and attainable housing; we just felt like it would be a prime location here in Tifton.”
Following a ribbon cutting organized in partnership with the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce, guests of the grand opening were invited into the establishment, where they were introduced to the staff and treated to refreshments.
Jordan announced that Clayton Homes would additionally be hosting a celebration in honor of their opening this Saturday, inviting the community to enjoy food trucks, a live show from Valdosta’s Kix 99.5, and the opportunity to win a variety of prizes including a Blackstone grill, a patio heater, and gift cards.
