Wiley named to chancellor’s list

TROY, Ala. — Olivia Wiley of Tifton has been named to the chancellor’s list at Troy University for the fall semester/Term 2 of the 2022-23 academic year.

The chancellor’s list honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0.

Stone earns dean’s list honor

DEMOREST — Lauren Stone of Tifton was among nearly 300 Piedmont University students who earned a GPA of 3.50-3.99 to qualify for the dean’s list for the fall semester.

S.Ga. residents make president’s list

AMERICUS — Area residents made the fall president’s list at Georgia Southwestern State University and were among 596 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must earn a semester GPA of 4.0 and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Area students include:

Nashville: Natalie Nix.

Tifton: Marley Whitley, Jonathan Williams.

Exum makes dean’s list

AMERICUS – Bonnie Exum of Nashville made the fall dean’s list at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 596 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Staines earns academic achievement

AMERICUS — Marlana Staines, a resident of Lenox, made the fall academic achievement list at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 596 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the academic achievement list, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in three to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.
