TIFTON —With apologies to “Charlotte’s Web,” the fair is a veritable smorgasbord, orgasbord, orgasbord.

The 83rd Coastal Plains Agricultural Fair at the American Legion Fairgrounds is in full swing.

After opening on Tuesday, Oct. 29, the fair will be open Friday, Nov. 1 from 6 p.m until midnight, Saturday, Nov. 2 from 2 p.m. until midnight and Sunday, Nov. 3 from 1-7 p.m.

The American Legion uses the proceeds generated from the fair to support veterans and youth programs in the community.

They support the VA clinic and veteran organizations.

Tickets are $5 at the gate, and attendees will have the option to purchase an unlimited ride wristband on the midway. The price for those are $15 on  Sunday, and $20 on Friday and Saturday.

The American Legion Fairgrounds are located at 1312 US Hwy 82 E.
