TIFTON — The Tift Theatre is gearing up to give Tifton a spookier kind of show this Halloween.

After a brief hiatus last year, the theatre’s annual Haunted Theatre event makes a return Halloween weekend.

First started in 2015, the spooky spectacle has transformed the icon of Downtown Tifton into veritable haunted house each October, bringing a new theme every year.

This year’s Halloween will bring three nights of werewolves and other mythical creatures to Tifton, said Alex Joyner, interim theater manager.

Guests will be led by junior werewolf experts through the theater, dressed in its best Halloween decor, as they try to escape the terrifying creatures of the night.

The Haunted Theatre event will be 7-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28, 29; 7 p.m. into the night Monday, Oct. 31, Halloween. For more information, contact the theater at (229) 326-1982.
