TIFTON – Tift County reported no COVID-19-related deaths in the past week and less than 10 new virus cases, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Tift County has reported 139 COVID-19-related deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The same amount as reported the previous week.

Tift County has reported 4,882 cases since the pandemic began last year – an increase of seven cases since last week, according to the GDPH, and 3,480 antigen cases, which is 14 more than what was reported a week ago; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
