TIFTON — Tift County High School’s Health Occupations Students of America recently participated in the State Leadership Conference.

The conference competition was held in Atlanta March 2-4, school officials said.

Bill Nguyen placed first in prepared speaking out of 110 participants.

He is eligible to compete at the International Leadership Conference in Dallas later this year.
