TIFTON — The Tift County Commission has signed onto a deal with medical equipment manufacturer Stryker for maintenance and service of county ProCare equipment.

After discussing the terms of the agreement at the previous meeting, Tift County commissioners voted unanimously, as part of the consent agenda, to enter into a three-year partnership with Stryker during the June 12 meeting.

Through this agreement, Stryker will be called to conduct maintenance and annual inspections on all county medical equipment, as well as annual calibrations on county cardiac monitors and AEDs.

The services will be part of an annual payment of $23,646.93 as per the terms of the agreement.

The county’s agreement with Stryker is scheduled to begin July 1 and will expire June 31, 2026.
