Tift Schools letting out early Tuesday

TIFTON — Tift County Schools will let out 30 minutes earlier on Tuesday, according to to a release on social media.

“Due to the change in the expected arrival of potentially severe weather, all students will be released 30 minutes early today. All after school activities have been canceled.”

Included in the cancelations are middle school cheer tryouts, which have been shifted to Wednesday-Friday. Tift’s road soccer matches at Camden County are also affected by the change. Boys head coach Bobby Earls said they have rescheduled those matches for Wednesday.
