Family Fun Day: Tiftarea YMCA hosts Halloween treat

TIFTON — Kids received a Halloween treat Saturday at the Tiftarea YMCA Family Fun Day. The event was held at Hunt Park.
Kids had the opportunity to participate in several activities, including a fishing booth, egg race, bean bag toss, sack race and soccer ball kick. Each offered candy for the participants, who came dressed in a variety of outfits, from the Incredible Hulk to Chicken Little to Pennywise the Clown.

Parents weren’t left out.
Vendors had food for sale. Gray Ghost Comics had a table set up.
Earlier in the day, the Tiftarea YMCA sponsored the Superhero 5K and one-mile fun run.
The event lasted from 10 a.m.-noon. Sponsors were Checkers, Douglas Vascular, Gray Ghost Comics, The Howard Center, Marco’s Pizza, South Georgia Banking Company, Sumner, Beaumont & York Insurance Agency, Tifton Tourism, 3 Beards BBQ and Zach Veazey CPA.
