CHULA — Tiftarea Academy track coach Edd Cunningham saw the weather reports days in advance of the school’s track meet and worried if he would even be able to host it. Fortunately, the skies were clear last Wednesday and a healthy sun shone down on the Sarge Dorsey Track.
Tiftarea hosted Brookwood, Valwood and Citizens Christian Academy in the quad meet, Brookwood sweeping. The Warriors scored 83 points in the girls section and 68 in the boys. The Panthers and Lady Panthers were second, with 47 and 51 points, respectively. Both Citizens Christian teams were third and Valwood was fourth.
